Indoor League tables for the 2022-23 season are now available and will be updated regularly.

The club’s annual Open Day will be held on Saturday September 3rd this year.

The club will, following a very successful recruiting drive in 2021, repeat the 6 free Saturday morning coaching sessions for prospective new members.

These sessions are run by club members who are qualified Norfolk Bowls Coaching Association members.

At the club AGM held in April 2022, it was agreed that the membership subscription for the 2022-23 season starting on September 1st 2022 will be held at £45.

We are now holding Social Bowling Evenings for members on most Tuesdays during the Indoor season from 7-9pm

The format is a ‘roll-up’ and members are asked to sign in for the roll-up no later than 6:45.

The bar will be open and the dress code is smart casual or standard bowls attire. Bowling shoes must be worn on the bowls carpet.

The club will re-open on Monday 28th September 2020 with indoor bowling under COVID secure conditions.

The management committee have started to discuss the implications of the EIBA Covid guidelines effect on indoor bowling at Shotford.

A survey of league captains has shown that the indoor leagues are not viable at this time and the committee have decided to repeat the survey in December to see if a ‘half season’ of indoor league games is possible.

The survey also showed that there is sufficient interest in having indoor roll-ups and the committee are actively engaged in trying to set this up within the EIBA guidelines, which it has to be accepted may not be possible to acheive.

Outdoor bowling will commence from July 1st after our prolonged Covid-19 shutdown.
