Indoor roll ups are held on most Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons at 2:00pm and Wednesday mornings at 9:50am throughout the year.

Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm we have an informal social roll up with bar facilities.

All members are welcome to come along for a friendly 2hr game, with a break at half time for tea and biscuits, or use of the bar in the evenings

The afternoon sessions start at 2:00pm and finish at  4:00pm, but most people usually arrive between 1:30 and 1:45pm for a chat and get together before the games start. The Wednesday morning session starts at 9:50 and finishes at 12:00.

Rinks are drawn at random and you may be in a block of 2, 3 or 4 players, but mostly blocks of 3 players play in triples games.

Rink Fee is currently £3:00 per member per session.

Tea and biscuits and sometimes cakes and sausage rolls (at Christmas!) are served at about half time.

No charge, other than the rink fee is made, but members regularly attending the roll ups are asked to occasionally bring along some biscuits or a packet of tea bags to maintain the kitchen stocks.

Dress code is standard bowling whites/greys or members can chose to play in any smart casual clothing since these are informal sessions, but flat-soled bowling shoes must be worn on the bowling green.

The sessions are light-hearted, friendly and games are played in a good spirit with more experienced players often using the sessions for a bit of practice and others simply enjoying an afternoon with friends.

For new members especially, these sessions are a great way to make new friends and meet people and don’t worry if you have no woods of your own, because there are normally a set or two available to borrow from the stock cupboard.
