The management committee have started to discuss the implications of the EIBA Covid guidelines effect on indoor bowling at Shotford.

A survey of league captains has shown that the indoor leagues are not viable at this time and the committee have decided to repeat the survey in December to see if a ‘half season’ of indoor league games is possible.

The survey also showed that there is sufficient interest in having indoor roll-ups and the committee are actively engaged in trying to set this up within the EIBA guidelines, which it has to be accepted may not be possible to acheive.

Outdoor bowling will commence from July 1st after our prolonged Covid-19 shutdown.

The 2019/20 Indoor league program came to an abrupt halt with the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus.

The clubs rink fees will remain unchanged for the 2019-20 season starting in September 2019.

Our rink fee of £2:40 for a 2 hr game, combined with our annual subscription of £35 means that we remain the cheapest indoor bowling club in Norfolk and probably in the whole country!

The annual subscription rate for the season starting 1st September will remain unchanged for yet another year.

The full membership subscription is £35, which entitles members to play both indoor and outdoor bowls, subject to the usual rink fees, which are also unchanged for the comming season.

Social membership is also held at £6:50 for the coming season.
